As seen in House and Garden…

It’s the thing I have loved the most about my painting practice: the surprises that show up on the canvas. Since my art is intuitive and based in a process painting type methodology, I may start off with an idea but usually more of an emotion that I am invoking on the canvas… I allow it to develop and just surrender to the process rather than try to control it. Well, the biggest surprise arrived a few weeks ago when an email arrived from London, England. At first, I didn’t think the email was real. But it was intriguing so I did my due diligence and discovered that it was real: House and Garden Magazine was inviting me to be in their showcase of global artists… The Art Edit page as they call it. What? Me? Delighted and astonished, of course, it is my honor to be alongside such wonderful artists selected by the Editors of this beautiful design magazine… My painting ‘Shaman Queen’ is seen in the January 2021 issue at No. 74 on The Art Edit page…and thank you House and Garden!
